The sides call you back. The tail doesn't.
The faded sides are short, so a few weeks of growth changes them completely. The back is long, so the same few weeks barely register; it just needs shaping now and then so it looks chosen rather than neglected. If you'll be driving 92 minutes for every visit, I can cut the sides to grow out more gracefully, with a lower fade or a slightly longer blend, so the mullet still looks like a mullet when you're between trips.
