Several trips, one tail.
Starting from short hair, the back needs months to clear the collar while the sides stay tight. Each shaping visit is another 80 minutes each way, so I'd rather space them out than see you every time the fade softens: let the sides go a little looser and come in when the back needs its shape corrected.
Once the tail is where you want it, the sides set the pace again.
