Hobbs air is a little kinder to the skin.
Open-Meteo's 2023–25 archive gives Hobbs an average humidity of 43%, the least dry of the cities I write about, against 38% in Carlsbad. The average July high in Hobbs is 94°F, where Carlsbad's is 98°F.
