Color and perms, from Hobbs.
A Color Transformation is the longest booking on my menu, and a Perm isn't far behind. Both happen in my chair in Carlsbad, 70 miles from Hobbs along US 62/180, about 80 minutes by car (OpenStreetMap routing).
Of everything I do, these two are the appointments that give a long drive a reason: one trip, one big change.

A Perm is shorter, but still long enough that I'd give that day nothing else except the trip home.
