Natural curls left to move on top, the sides faded to skin so the texture above looks fuller. It's a cut I do on grown men and on kids, and I do it in Carlsbad: 36 miles south of Artesia on US 285, about 44 minutes by OpenStreetMap routing.

This is a cut I do on kids and on men in their twenties and thirties alike, and Artesia has plenty of both: Census ACS 2023 counts 2,735 kids enrolled in K–12, and 21.9% of the town is 20 to 34. On top, a few weeks of growth just reads as more curl. The faded sides are where you'll notice the cut aging, since regrowth shows against bare skin. Is one appointment enough for two kids?+
No. Each child needs their own booking so I have the full time for each cut. Book them back to back.
What fade height do you suggest for school?+
Low keeps it soft and grows out gently. Higher gives more contrast. The curly top fade page shows a high one.
